The LaFerrari is the first car with hybrid technology in the history of Maranello. The 6262cc V12 engine delivers 800 hp while the electric motor adds 120 KW (163 hp) for more than 960 hp. Thanks to the enormous technological leap provided by the HY-KERS system, the LaFerrari is the highest performance and efficient vehicle ever built in Ferrari’s history.
It is the first Ferrari designed entirely within the Centro Stile Ferrari directed by Flavio Manzoni, without the usual collaboration from Pininfarina, whose decision ended a long tradition of designing Ferrari luxury vehicles by that house since 1951. However, Ferrari has assured that there are two models on the way that do have the collaboration of Pininfarina.
